Stab 5 finds the cast of the fan-film Stab 4: Fresh Blood under attack. Again playing on the reality-within-a-reality of the Stab films and taking it to the next level.
After two cast members of Stab 4 are brutally murdered, the town of Manchester, New Hampshire is on edge as rumors of a Ghost Face wearing psycho quickly make their way around town. Joshua Dudley, Director of Stab 4, and his Producer, Rachel Arnold, are busily working on their production of Stab 5 when they receive the news. Deciding the film's production is worth more to Joshua than the safety of his cast, production rolls on.
Who would want to kill the cast of Stab 4? Is the killer someone taking their obsession with the Stab films one step too far? Is the killer following the same rules we all know and love? But most importantly, the number one question on everyone's mind: who's next?

Fun Fact #1 Stab 5 is StabMovies.com second full length movie.
Fun Fact #2 A sequel to Stab 4: Fresh Blood wasn't originally planned. But the fan response was overwhelming, so Joshua decided to make another movie. Around this time, Scream 4 was announced and the information that there were now seven Stab films made Joshua decide to make Stab 4-7.
Fun Fact #3 Stephanie Maheu took over the role of Shannon Nightingale, making her the only actress in our series to play one of our other actors. The real Shannon Nightingale filmed the end sequence and then was in a terrible car accident and couldn't continue with production.
Fun Fact #4 Mandi Russell was the third actress cast to play Dylan Roberts. The first actress, who the part was written for, developed cancer and couldn't continue production. The second actress, who filmed a large part of the end sequence, didn't get along with the cast and quit unexpectedly. This forced the ending to get re-filmed with her replacement, Mandi.
Fun Fact #5 There was originally a different ending to Stab 5! It would have been revealed that Shannon was actually Jennifer's long-lost second cousin and was killing everyone so that she could be the star! However, after attending the premiere of Scream 4 and noticing the very similar ending with Sidney's cousin, Joshua quickly re-wrote the finale.
